Hi all! :) Christmas is almost on the way! I can't wait! I've been occupying my time lately by watching series. Just completed the last episode of America's Next Top Model All-Stars. Definitely an interesting cycle where all the most 'memorable' contestants come back to battle out for the title. The final runway was really over the top and it looked fun. I've been watching Vampire Diaries, Pretty Little Liars and just started on Nikita.

Every year before Christmas, we usually decorate our Christmas tree. Each year I get to choose the color theme for the tree. This year I chose RED :) I don't think we've done a complete red Christmas tree. Excited!

I would have never imagined myself graduating from high school this quick. It feels like I am growing up even if I don't want to yet. I am still not very sure of my ambition but I know majority of the students aren't very sure either. At times like this, I shall be reminded of Jeremiah 29:11. Now, regardless of Pearly's statement"Past is past", I want to take this time to post up the pictures one of the most important event in any girl's life. Graduation Day.

So basically, Melissa decided to 'revive' the blog again because she's completely jobless during the holidays. That, and she misses Karen and I a lot! Anyway, straight to the highlight of yesterday...

I, Melissa On, have been chosen to blog first. No, wait. More like, I told the two bimbos I was going to start blogging first. I was suppose to blog about the major events that happened throughout this fairly in-teresting year in chronological order but Pearly was like "Past is past, Melissa!" Therefore, I decided to blog about today. The Present! Kind of.

Pearly had to work today so being the good bestie I am, I decided to accompany her. We were talking about hmm..life until I had a sudden urge to run down and get a drink. Yes, run. This actually sounds really dramatic. I bought drinks for the both of us and Pearly wanted to pay me back. I was like "no need!"

Nevertheless, she gave the money to me. I then tried to get her distracted so that I could slowly slip the money that she gave me into her "bag"

Distraction 1
Pearly was with a customer.

Enough of this bimboness.. We stayed at the candy shop quite a while and it was good to finally catch up. I'm starting to get bored doing nothing productive at home. I'm actually quite excited for school next year! And not to forget CHRISTMAS!! :D

Hi all readers! :) We're aware that we practically disappeared a year ago without any notice whatsoever. Nevertheless, after a year of uhh.. hardships, stress and pressure due to the 'O' Levels examination, we're back! It's definitely great to blog once again even though most people are actually using Tumblr now. Anyway, it doesn't really matter! We sure hope that we'll be able to keep Scribble-licious updated all the time. 2011 passed even faster than 2010, don't you agree?

Hey peeps! Guess who again?I noticed this blog has been really inactive for the past few months. Well, let me tell you guys that a lot has happened and time does indeed travels too fast. We completed our final exams already.. that's a bonus! But there's still next year.. exam year! Karen and I have been quite busy with the nativity play practices and well, I'm not too sure about Pearly. After nativity, I will be going on holiday for a few days. Hehe, can't wait for that!

As some of you know, I turned 16 last month. It was such a magical night for me and I thank every single person for making my birthday absolutely special.. Hey all! I just arrived back from Singapore yesterday. How was Singapore? It was somewhat different. Some shops that we thought still existed in some areas do not anymore. At first, my dad was reluctant to leave my sis and I to do the shopping together in Singapore. Nevertheless, we were persistent about shopping with just us two. Hehe :) Fortunately, my sister is a pro and knows the way around Orchard and underpasses. I would have been confused. :P For some reason, I know the Bugis area well. Weird.. We went to Pastamania. My sister loves Pastamania and well, I just love food. We had the penne pomodoro. Yum.

This Singapore trip was indeed different. It was fun and a little scary. For me at least. Paid a visit to Mount Elizabeth H which took up some shopping time! My sister was unhappy about that. Praise God that it was nothing uber serious and I'm healing real quick. Hehe. I didn't want to try on clothes much so I had to depend some of my purchases on faith. Then again, I had my sister to help try on clothes for me.

I finally found the Lotso Bear!!!! :D He's soo cute! And he smells of strawberries!! Sadly, I didn't buy him. Lotso bears are expensive.

Hello all!

I actually intended ( not really) to blog yesterday but was busy. It's not fair to say i don't care about the blog because I do. :D Sometimes I just don't have the inspiration or motivation to write a post. anyway im blogging now aren't i? . I just realized we only have a total of 1 post for August! which totally reflects how hardworking we are... well, tests were going on so yeah. But it's alright, we'll try to blog more often. I won't be blogging for a few days as i'm going to KK this Saturday. ( yay an excuse! , jk) I'm quite excited :)

Okay another problem is I don't know what to blog about. Everyone has their style of blogging or rather the things that they blog about. For example, I realize we never blog about music artiste/ songs. Say recommend good songs/video etc. oh ya we've never posted a video on the blog!! HAHA. Some people blog about the relationships, happenings, food, rants, school, their day etc.
I'd say I'm more of a..... lazy blogger. :D

Hey peeps! It's me again. I'm blogging because my dear friends absolutely refuse to blog. I apologize if I have been boring you. bonjour!

yes, we're back. :) I'm so glad that I'm the first person blogging after a very.... long time. Have you guessed who I am yet? Well of course, the most awesome and diligent blogger compared to the two bimbos! Ahem..

Back to the point, and no, I won't be blogging about tests today.

On the 21st of August, my sister and I attended a party. It was an all-girl party, which made it more interesting. The theme and dress code of the party was Las Vegas. It was pretty awesome to see everyone all dressed up. All that glitters! Pearly was there too. :)

Ohhh! And there were cupcakes! They were creamy and relatively big in size. I was the first one who finished the whole cupcake! Yay me. After eating, my lips became really pink from the colouring. What a giveaway. It totally showed the size of my appetite. Anyway, hope you'll be entertained with the pictures below. I'm going to start with the most beautiful picture.

New BLOGSKINN! As you can see, I have updated the "About us" area. We decided not to be cliche and did not put any information about ourselves. I mean, people will know our personality from what we blog right? So yeah. Point stated. I hope you guys love the new blogskin.

I know we haven't been blogging much lately. One word for the bimbos. L A Z Y. I should be excused because I was indeed busy for the Sports Day cheer as well as my Malay tuition. I finally went to tuition :P Sports Day was interesting. I had three events. I ended up having 'blisters' on my feet. Well, it's more like part of my skin got scrapped off. I wouldn't call that blisters. Jolene was a big help. She knew a lot about these things. It's not my fault my shoes are too heavy to be carried while running. So I ran barefooted. Let me tell you this, the ground was burning! :P

Everything's okay now. I thank God that nothing bad happened throughout the event and for the awesome strength we had. "He answers by giving us victory" Psalms 65:5

Ohhh! I recently watched Eclipse! :D I thought it was good actually... In my opinion, I thought it was better than New Moon. Nevertheless, my sister didn't agree with me. What do you think? Well, I'm going to end here.I will blog a longer post soon enough. All the best everyone! :)

YO YO YO

Today's the 1st of July. "Happy July" I wished Karen. She gave me the.. what 0.o face. Today's also my auntie's birthday! Now, it's been since forever we have celebrated her birthday. She's been here since my sister was born. That's 21 years people! She's that awesome. Also partly because she knows what type of food I enjoy :D

We had pizza delivered. :) It's been ages since I had Pizza Hut. And this time, I totally know what's "Hut"

Anyway, my sister and I wanted to buy her the Mr Baker's carrot cake. I called but they were out of it. :( Fortunately, the carrot slice was available. I bought the 4 cake slices instead and didn't bother to buy a whole cake because I end up eating everything anyway. This is to clear up what you will be seeing in the upcoming pictures.

Hello! It's been a while since I last blogged. :) Short update!

Like I mentioned on my previous post, I'm blogging about the Monday Movie Outing with Pearly and Karen. Guess what movie? I mean.. hwat movie? Stop guessing.. It's Toy's Story 3! Karen and I have lovely childhood memories watching Toy's Story 1 and 2 so this movie was important to us. (Ahem 'we')

BACK TO SCHOOL!!! It's boring... nevertheless I get to see Karen 5 days a week again!! :D And of course my other classmates! I feel super tired right now. Biology practicals just ended and I'm on the lappy, blogging. I intend to blog yesterday but something came up..

I was really friendless that night because both bimbos had other plans... Hmmmphhhh* First, they both ask me to plan outing on Friday, then no show! :P Atleast, Pearly came in the afternoon, when hardly anyone was around and Karen..if I'm not mistaken she said sorry she couldn't make it.

Around 7.30pm, people started to arrive at my house. Once again, I ate my third round of laksa while more of my sister's friends started arriving. After that, I just walked around taking pictures and mostly searching for something interesting to do. I went upstairs a lot of times and went on fb. Haha!

Fun began when we played... PICTIONARY! :D I haven't played in ages.. but my skills are still intact ;) We won the game. My sister's friends wanted to play Taboo next and it gave me the opportunity to eat my fourth round of laksa :) I have to say the night ended well.. though I ate only 4 rounds. I'm starting to eat less...

FATHER'S DAY!!

Father's Day is super special because it is a day when we celebrate our Father in Heaven and of course, our fathers. Their awesomeness :) Haha! I'm going to end here. I might blog the pictures of yesterday's outing tomorrow! All the best:)

Mall Rat!

I know we haven't been blogging much lately. "No inspiration" is what Karen Ting would say. "Lazy" is our new quote ;) This post is going to be a short one. I'm starting by telling you readers about major..uh.. news? I'm not sure if Karen knows this yet but...

Pearly Tew has a puppy! Family puppy of course! She's(note the gender) uber cute! My sister says she looks like a wolf or a bear. I'm not going to reveal much about this matter as I expect Pearly to post all the pictures soon.

Yesterday...
I went to the Mall with my sister. It was practically the only time I got to go out with her. We were expecting to watch Prince of Persia but it was not showing in the afternoon. I was really bummed out. I heard Prince of Persia was nice and nice movies are a must-watch-in-cinema. Ask Pearly and Karen. They know all about my.. should I call them quotes?!

Instead, my sister booked seats for her and her bf to watch A-Team at night. I was like..whuuat? "Couple seat." My sister said. Do you know people have to pay a dollar extra for couple seats? I didn't know too! She asked me whether I wanted to join them but I do not want to be a light bulb. My stomach was rumbling by then so we went to have dessert at Secret Recipe. We had the Chocolate Banana and Carrot Slice. As usual, my sister couldn't finish and I had to clean everything up. :) Mission accomplished of course ;)

Then we walked around the Mall. Nothing much... Same old same old. I went to the Mall today again. This time with my sister and her friend, Peggie. We just walked around. Reminds me of a particular song...

Holidays have not been much fun lately. I've already finished watching the Vampire Diaries Season 1, which I actually started watching 2 days ago. I know.... I really don't know what to do now. I'm getting bored and everything. I have no idea what those two bimbos are up to. My sister is out again. 1 positive thing is that I bought Extras. So maybe I can occupy my time with books! Yay-me! :P

Good morning peeps! :) I feel so hardworking blogging in the morning haha. Yesterday was full dress rehearsal. It was tiring as it started at 2 and ended at 10.30pm! But it's okay I had fun :D Before that, I attended a wedding at Empire in the afternoon which concludes that I've been wearing contact lens for 13 hours straight without eye drop. ( because i forgot to bring, what to do D: )

Hey all!! Mileyssa here :) Hope you were entertained with Karen's previous post. Both of us in particular have been real busy with the Espression Concert practices. And as you know, Pearly has not been feeling too great lately.

I just watched Valentine's Day. I know I'm a little outdated and everything but not as bad as Karen and Pearly! They haven't watched it yet. I think I was suppose to watch the movie with them but oh well. It was okay. Ha-ha. So mushy and all.

Let's go back in time. The 31st May (Monday) Pearly came over my house and we had a so called 'movie marathon' With the oh-so-limited time we had together (there was school the next day), we managed to watch three movies namely; Kick Ass! (Pearly liked it a lot) Leap Year (Both bimbos found it disappointing) and Crimes of Fashion (starring Megan Fox. Need I say more?) We also took some pictures though I was begging Pearly to stop after a few minutes. Total Fail. We talked a lot too! I'm so glad I was able to catch up with her.

Ahhh! Karen Ting! Why didn't you come?! Oh well, I better get ready for practice later..

SAS celebrated "Friendship Day" or rather a day without school uniform. Unlike the past years, this year there were class parties and performances. I'm glad to say the whole class participated and most of them actually dressed up! :) It was nice seeing everyone in different customes. :) I had so much fun! :D

I wore a golden cheongsam! Surprisingly Melissa's indian outfit ( it doesnt look like sari) is almost the same shade as mine. She looked like a princess. haha

Saturday, the 29th of May. My mom and I went Senja with her friends. Wow, I seem to go out with my mom often. Anyway, I had a satisfying meal. AFC Telematch was held yesterday morning. I woke up at approximately 6.30 am. My body was feeling absolutely exhausted from the lack of rest. I had fun though. I participated in the caterpillar race as well as the relay race (Big foot) alongside Abi and Nyuk Shan. Danson chicks!!! Woo! While playing the caterpillar race, Pearly Tew (hmmph) went through my bag and found the ............ can you guess what? She was totally hogging it. Hence the sufficient amount of pictures taken of the Telematch event.

Melly here! Ahhhh... Three papers were given out today. I'm not that satisfied with my results nevertheless I thank God that I passed. Whew! After school, I went to Gripps for lunch. (Note the sudden change in topic) Then, I went to Chinese :P My Saturdays have not been the best but it's all going to change becauseeee

I'm going to watch Shrek 4!!!! I heard it's nice. :) Derrick spent quite some time talking about the movie this morning and K got annoyed because she doesn't like spoilers. I'm going to watch with my mom and her friends. Somehow, this sounds kind of weird.

3rd of June. The non-uniform/traditional wear day! It sounds pretty exciting when teacher told us about it this morning. Like what are we going to wear? That was the main question among the chicks in S1.

In addition, my sister is coming back to Brunei soon!! Heh. She'll be happy to be reunited with her pests.. oh, I mean.. pets! Totally influenced by those two bimbos who don't like my dogs very much.

EXAMS ARE OVER!

I absolutely cannot wait to get back my papers!........... NOT. MYE was difficult D: I sense crappy grades coming. I swear I don't like that feeling. *emo*

Anyway, met up with Pearly yesterday night. She is still having exams though but I think she misses me too much, must see me and mel HAHAHA. ok just kidding. We watched.......

(Okay. I have to admit that starting a post with my dog's picture is a little odd)

Whew! We've obviously been busy. I intend to make this post a really long one to make up for the lack of updates. A lot of things have happened. I've already planned in my head what to blog about ages ago but I seem to have gone blank. I'll try and blog about the highlighted events.

OH! And, good luck to everyone on their exam results. Mid-year was hard, but nothing in life is easy. I had flu. I think it was because of my fear or nervousness for POA. So instead of

doing my exam 'smoothly', I practically had to use one hand to do it. I should totally change the subject. Okay, back to the 'highlighted' events. (Note: Not in chronological order)

A day to remind us to appreciate our mothers and love them.

What did I do? We bought a lovely carrot cake for me mommmy! She loves Mr Baker's carrot cake. And we had a lovely, pleasant dinner. Pretty normal huh?

HEY ALL! :) I'm guessing you all want to know who won the netball match. SAS lost! :P I'm quite content as I was proud of the seniors!! GO SENIORS!! And their teamwork + 'never give up' spirit. Always smiling! :D Sadly, I didn't get to play. Nevertheless, they did AWESOMELY!! I'm soo happy for them! I bet they are celebrating too! Overall, we did our best and I would say it was a good game.

But.. I am devastated at one thing. The lack of faith protrayed by my friends in us. Betting on us losing is so not funny and it hurt so much because we've been training super hard for this tournament. In addition to the discouragement.

I thank P and K though.. for totally believing in us :D I love you girls! I'll end here.

okay, Okay.

Those 'bimbos' didn't blog like I said they would in the previous post. To catch up on what we have been doing, the two 'princesses' AHEM one princess and the other ahmah watched Remember Me while I was SHOPPING in KL!!! How I miss shopping. There were signs that practically 'spoke'..... "Up to 70% discount"

To make up for the lack of posts, I'll make this post a long one. Including pictures! Of course. Did I mention SOMEONE forgot to bring her camera to camp?!?! Yeap, you heard it people. Anyway, I'll leave the blogging about camp to Pearly or Karen because if I blog about it, I'll just be typing "LOVE GURU ROCKS!!! 1# WOOOOOO!"

Back to the point. KL. Basically, I haven't been to KL since I was 6-8 years. I honestly don't remember. I stayed at Westin Hotel and outside the hotel, there was a sign that always catches my eye. On it was written "Beware of snatch-thief" HAHA. I was laughing + half freaked. Seriously.

And. And! Did you know it takes 40minutes to go from the airport to KL city centre?? That's further than Tutong! But the taxi driver was quite entertaining. By the time I reached the hotel, it was about 11pm. We had supper at 12am at A&W! It was okay only. The next morning, shopping was the main event. I had fun. I haven't shopped like that in ages.

I noticed this vacation is the first time vacation without my cutes sister. :P It's hard to get use to it. She normally goes in a department store, looks for cosmetics like those Maybelline blah as I watched her while she asked me for opinions. So basically, I never shopped for proper makeup stuff. I think I was partly scared of cosmetic ladies talking talking and talking while I'm like looking and yeah.

Hey all!
I felt the urge to blog because of the lack of updates. Notice that we have been posting up picture(s) and not 'typing' much.. Sometimes, we just have no mood to blog or just have nothing to say. Simple explanation. :)

Lately, I have been sleeping at weird times of the day. Yesterday, I slept at 8pm and forced myself up at 12am midnight, after dreaming of shoes, Pearly and some person. I think I was pretty moody because I almost broke down when I couldn't find my kebab...

until...

I opened my refigerator. And there it was :) half-eaten because of my mom. :P Anyway, I went online, and slept later at 2.30am. I dream again. I seem to dream every time I close my eyes. I have no idea why. I woke up at 8.30am. I couldn't sleep so I watched tv.

At 12pm, I slept once again at until 3.30pm. Like what is wrong with me? I felt super tired. My body is trying replace the exercising hours. Right.

I just came back from dinner at Tasek aka Sheraton. I almost puked because I 'overate'. I think it's because I haven't eaten that much (in one go) in a very long time. To help the digestion, I thought tea would help but apparently the camomile tea (my mom says it's very fragrant) made me want to puke more. For some reason.

She thinks I might have gastric but I doubt it.

I am SUPER excited for camp. HEHE! :D Go Jason and I! And Pearly too of course.. Muahahaha! Well, I'm going to end here!

Today's the last day of the term :)

Quite a number of people are absent and I guess that's probably one of the reasons we had free period before cleaning campaign. Our group just talked! haha like literally. From playing truth or dare to just talk.

Anyway, did a lot of cleaning after that. Melissa and I were assigned to clean the chemistry lab. ( and others too, of course) It was good since there was air-cond. :D Mrs.Arul gave those who cleaned the chemistry lab delite juice. how sweet of her! Mrs. Arul is leaving us. how sad right? She's like the LAMEST ( in a funny way) teacher we've had.

and of course, HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO YOU PEOPLE. Do spend your 10 days wisely ;)

Actually, I don't have much to blog about. Same old, same old. Except the fact that my mom is probably at a concert in Singapore watching her 'idol' sing. And people. I-am-not-joking.

Adam Lambert is performing in Singapore tonight (atleast I think it's tonight). She was uber happy when she won a ticket. She went to Singapore with her bff this morning<< This sounds so weird. I hope she takes a picture for me. I'm not really a big fan but still.

Speaking of AI, I'm pretty shell-shocked that Lily Scott went out. The judges gave her quite good comments. This shows that anything can happen. Like when John Park went out :(

There's cross-country tomorrow.. aka jogathon. GO DANSON! Don't you find it cool that the three of us are in Danson House? I want to go but I'm scared it's going to be a really long route or whatever it's called.

P's last test is tomorrow. One of my favourite subjects.. Can you guess what it is? Yeap, it's Physics!! Good luck, Peely!! Now we can go out more often. Often only means Mondays and Thursdays for me. Next week is going to be packed too. And there's the entrepreneurship fair coming up. I hope the spelling is right. I'm so happy because I've been exercising alot and I want to EAT!!

I just realized Mel's post saying: since tests are over, Karen and I will blog more often. HAHA. Alright, I WILL try my best to!

Just got back from excapade! Hmm, sushi craving satisfied :) [more like my family's sushi cravings are satisfied. Anyway, gadong and kiulap branch were SO FULL! After going gadong and the new kiulap one, we finally settled for the other kiulap branch. ( which in fact, is the oldest branch ) See how determined we were? HAHA.

So, we got back all our papers already and well, my marks are as predicted, lousy. That's what you get for studying last minute, or rather not studying. HAHA. However, I'm glad I passed all :D

Yesterday, all form fours were given an opportunity to visit the Japanese Language and Culture something something. Okay, too lazy, don't bother to look it up. It was definitely an interesting trip. Oh! and it was my first time visiting UBD. Armin was pretending UBD was his palace and telling us all those cars of his he got for his birthdays. HAHA!

The ceremony started with a series of performances. There was this drums + flute performance which I thought was pretty cool! There was a dance and not to forget.. the fashion show! HAHA. Most of the outfits were street fashion, like you know, those Harajuku ones.

There were quite a number of booths that displayed different items related to its category. Like Manga, Anime, Food, Games, Origami, Martial arts and a lot more. Sorry no pictures cause i didn't have a camera with me.

I remember something Seng Chuan said yesterday.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDYYY!!!!!! :D:D:D:D:D

Yup, it's my dad's birthday today!! :) We didn't go out to eat but he wanted a simple dinner at home. We had steamboat and bbq<< (I just found out I'm lousy at spelling:P) A two in one!!! It was heaven for me. I shall lose weight tomorrow.

He's from the year of a tiger, which means he's -- years old. Sadly, I didn't get any present for him due to unforseen circumstances. (I sound so formal) He expected something though :( Nevertheless, I surprised him with something else.

And I paid for it :P My mom said, "You order, you pay" I think she knows I end up eating eveything, which I won't. And that's not the reason I ordered, okay! Notice the heart and the girl beside it. Cool eh? I totally requested for that. Actually you have to request for everything so.. PICTURES!!

My deepest apologies for not blogging yesterday, like I said I would. There was no time (like seriously no time) and I'm sick once again. :( It hasn't even been two months!!! I guess I have been stressing myself too much. I'll make this post really short as I think the radiation from the computer or whatever can cause me to be more sick. Blah~~

Yesterday night, I went to the Tutong thing at Orchid Garden Hotel. I spotted Armin and some other peeps. Sadly, I didn't get to stay long because I was not feeling too good. I left about 9+pm and didn't even have time for the lucky draw. Due to my exhaustion, I slept at 10pm. That's seriously early for me. On a Saturday night again.

Today, I woke up at 7.30am. I really wanted to go to sleep but I was feeling too guilty to do so because I had Chinese tuition at 8.30am. Yes, THAT early! Mainly because I wanted to make it to netball at 12pm so I rescheduled my tuition time. At tuition, my flu took a turn for the worse. UGH! I didn't have much strength. I had a slight fever and I could feel the heat in me. I think teacher noticed and gave me less work.

In conclusion, I didn't go netball. I was sad of course. I went home and rest. And did MIB project. After doing it for an hour, my body grew tired again and flu got worse. oh wow, what a shocker. There was only the last page left. So I messaged K for help. I LOVE YOU KAREN! :D

Now typing this, I'm getting really tired again. Next week is going to be a lot busier and I hope my body can take it.

P & K are arriving back to Brunei tonight!!! :D I hope they love the layout. School today was quiet. Literally. All there was beside me... was an empty seat.

I sound dramatic. Philbert kept on asking me if I'm bored or lonely. I'm sorry if I didn't talk much. :P We played Numero during Amaths. Even though I knew the game (and I normally won P and K), I wasn't able to win. Awesome huh?

Moreover, Wayne said I was a nerd and that I always stick with Karen all the time. Sure... Karen is not my only friend okay? She's just awesome :D and P too of course. A conversation in school today..

How was the 1st day of Chinese New Year?

Truthfully?

It was lonely at first. I woke up early, all hyped up and my mom was sleeping. *Hmph* She was like, "Why are you so rushing?" I was feeling bubbly and the bubbles totally burst. It's like I got excited for no reason. Normally, on the 1st day, we meet with our relatives but apparently none of them open house. So what did I do from 10am-1pm?

What else.

I searched my refrigerator. I found a carrot cake and ate it. I was still starving and requested for curry mee. It was awesome because I got to watch Friends while eating. Luckily it was showing or I would die of boredom.

At 1+pm, we visited my mom's friends house. And later from 2+pm- 6pm, I was at my cousin, Kenny's house. Of course I was bored but at least my mom was having fun surfing the net. Things got better when Yen and Veena arrived. I talked more at least.

And then later, another family arrived. I didn't recognize them but my mom told me that they used to live in Chempaka before moving to Singapore. Their son was my sister's childhood friend or something. We all (cousins) talked to him and added him in fb. :P Then it was time to give the ang pows. My mum didn't want to get up from her seat and was totally engrossed with the computer screen, so she asked me to give the ang pow to him. I gave him. He looked a little confused <-- Young lady giving ang pows. I decided to joke so I said, "For you. From me and my husband" The look on his face was priceless!!! Muahaha!

Overall, it was a good 1st day. Eventhough it may sound boring, it really wasn't, kind of. Though I really felt the need to call P and K, I did not. :) I miss my sister too. I even helped her collect ang pows. What a good sister right?

Today. I set an alarm for 9.30am and I really woke up!! I normally sleep through alarms unless I'm light sleeping or something. I dream... again. I'm not going into any details because it was an even weirder dream. My dad and I visited his friends. In the afternoon, we went to my aunt's open house and later to Tutong. I played Scrabble. Being awesome, I won the first game. :)

Hey peeps!
I, Melissa On, is going to entertain you readers from now on BECAUSE... Pearly and Karen are going back to their hometown until further notice. And leaving me.. once again. It's like I have a "Go away" sign on my forehead. It's sad because I usually visit Pearly on the second day of cny. Last year, three of us met up at Pearly house because it was Karen's birthday. I still remember it clearly. :)

Past.
I was so jobless and bored yesterday that I did my English homework. Seriously. I finished it already. Now there's POA left and I'm pretty happy I didn't procrastinate much (for English). But I'm not going to do POA until the day before school reopens. :) Hehe.

I did my nails! I actually didn't really want to do nail art because I wanted to buy 'Specials' nevertheless I went to do my nails because I wanted to see Pearly. WAGoodF I haven't met with her in a long time. I also saw Lindy, Brid-gette and Melissa Lim. We were there until 10+ at night. It must be tiring for Pearly.

Present.
I feel tired and sick somehow. I kept on waking up in the morning for whatever reason. And I'm now typing this, thinking about tomorrow. What shall I do to my hair? What should I wear? What shall I wear this evening? Do I have shoes? <---OH NO!

Future.
I am going to Tutong later. I am thinking whether to bring my guitar incase I get bored. Should I? I can't wait for tomorrow. I get to see my cousins and relatives. It's going to be a blast, hopefully. I hope you guys are excited for Chinese New Year as I am.

Waking up in the middle of the night is not bubbly-making. Especially when you plan to 'slumber' the whole way. Nevertheless, I have been waking up in the night pretty regularly nowadays.

When I opened my eye, all I could see was pitch black and darkness all over. If you know me well, I am not afraid of the dark. But the stillness of the night had made my body paralysed, neglecting to move. I felt something fall from my bed. I got up despite my stiffness and reached out for something I couldn't see...

Nothing.

Nothing.

I grew tired and fell flat on my bed. Who cares if something fell? It probably wasn't anything. I closed my eyes tightly, trying my very best to fall asleep. And I slowly drift away........

"Wow, what a nice hotel!" My mom, dad and I were on a cruise ship which apparently visits the north pole or icy region. *The region was obviously set up for the recreation purposes and there was a swimming pool kind of structure*

My eyes shifted to the waiting room. Vintage-decorated it seemed. The ship has just anchored at the icy region, allowing people to visit. Apparently, no one wanted to visit at that particular time and my mom and I volunteered.

The cold, windy breeze slapped my hair against my face. Standing on ice and at the edge of the swimming pool-like structure. You could tell it wasn't very shallow. Or warm for that matter.

Somehow, my mum tried to talk me into going in and to see if I could reach the bottom. I mean seriously.. No mothers do that. "Why don't you do it first?" and she seriously went in. Being bogus, I followed.

The pressure pressed against my body was excruciating. The pool was much deeper than it seemed. I could only go 2 inch deep because of the pressure. Grasping for air, I quickly went to the surface. My mom was already there, waiting.

Back at the cruise ship, I had an urge to swim. I met with my friends. Karen was there too. Unfortunately, the pools were being renovated. Two of them!! It was sad.

Tired! It is like the only word in my vocabulary these days. No kidding. I seriously hope it'll be over soon. Please, please, please.

Well today we had to act in English class. In pairs; one a famous celebrity and the other the crazy fanatic fan. We had about 30 minutes to write our scripts and practice them. I acted as the famous celeb while my partner, my fanatic fan. I had to act like Chace Crawford. It was really really totally awkward. Half way, my mind was blanked so I made up words. You should see the expression on my partner's face. She was literally giving me that what-on-earth-are-you-trying-to-do look. But we still managed. Ours was the longest act. Probably because I was bragging on who knows what.

So anyway, I talked to Mel on the phone a few hours ago. Not for long though. She mentioned about Karen leaving soon. (which KAREN, you didn't remind me! text me okay? like when you read this and before you leave. or you should call me up and wish me happy chinese new year! :D)

And I just watched Princess and the Frog! :D Finally, after such a long time I've been wanting to watch it. Superly duper!

That's about all I'll brag for today. I'm going off to finish Specials! Just thinking of it makes me feel totally bubbly and icy! (pretty talk)

I think she really misses Pearly. I mean like seriously. <<-- This is for P's benefit.

I can't believe Chinese New Year is in 3 days and I haven't really bought much clothes or shoes. I'm in panic mode. It's just that on the 1st day, you have to look absolutely fantabulous and I don't think I can even pull off 'absolutely' Get it?

I doubt guys can get that.

Anyway, V-day is on the same day. I missed the time when K, P and I planned to make cards for each other. We did the cards beautifully. Obviously. I am going to start blogging using my organizer. It's the new trend to make up longer posts. Since some people think my posts are too short.

1st period (Bio) It was okay. I like bio.

2nd period (PE) Did you know P.E means physical education? It was a surprise for me too :) It was kind of fun, I guess. We played Touch Rugby. Without tackling.

3rd period (Amaths) TEST!!! I think I'm going to fail since I didn't get any of the answers and my working was totally bogus. <-new word used from reading! Smart people like K didn't really have trouble. I am in need of tuition.

4th period (CB) We continued with our tiger drawing. It was cool to see the creativity of the class.

5th period (Maths) All I can say that it was better than Amaths. I understand the angles thing but we're going deeper in that topic soon.

6th period (Bm) No comment.

7th period (Eng) We read a passage. Overall, it was okay. Except the fact that we have a pile of homework to do.

8th period (Physics) I like the subject actually. Shh! We're branching to one of the hardest topics of physics. Oh well!
and finally

9th period (Chem) Learned about the periodic table. And the nucleons and atomic numbers. I am surprised I remember :)

Chemistry practical was good. Melody and I couldn't get the right results but we can try again in the next practical. I finally finished 'Pretties' and slept from 3+ to 6. It was awesome but I hope I can sleep tonight.

School's been really hectic and we seem to have a truckload of homework everyday! :p Not to forget, class tests and all. Right, we had physics test just now and all I can say is I'm screwed! :S

Hello Melly and Karen! And everyone else! :)

I know, in a way, I disappeared. Though not as bad as how Karen always disappear because it's only for a few days. I have been sick and tired and busy. So anyway there's good news and bad news. Usually bad news comes before good ones so here goes.

Bad news:

Despite practicals and national day practices till' four pm every school days, I still manage to stay alive. Barely, actually. I'm always dragging myself out of bed in the morning, running up stairs to the third floor before the bell rings but still ended up late for school. I will wake up earlier, I tell myself every morning.

Middle of bad news and good news: I cut my hair! So very short now! :O

Good news:

Last week when I finished Uglies and so badly wanted to read Pretties, the book was lost. My English teacher, kind enough, went to buy one to replace the lost one. Not only that. He allowed me to borrow it first even before it has those library cards put on and also before I returned a book I was formerly reading. I was so delighted! After I read Pretties, I'm going to continue the rest of the trilogy. Extremely delighted! :)

Current news:

1. I might dye my hair tonight! I'm still considering.

2. 'O' level results are out.

3. I have a mountain pile of homework! :(

4. I'm reading Pretties. YAY! :D

I can't believe it's February already! Time flies when you're looking or not looking. Anyway, I just finished reading 'Uglies' and I really want to read 'Pretties' now. To my surprise, it's actually quite interesting though the storyline seems to be a bit weird when you read the info on the back of the book. It's based on the future.

Nothing totally cool happened in school nevertheless my day was fairly good. Karen and I were planning to JAM. With instruments and everything. You heard it people... We thought of 10 songs already. It's going to be hard meeting up with Pearly as she has national day practice. I'm so excited to jam with the girls as we always wanted to do it.

A day to remember 2/2 The first time my bag straps were lengthened and I became totally 'cool' :P I sound so perasan or however you spell it.

Scratch that!

A day to remember 2/2 Karen, being such a fantabulous friend, helped me lengthen my bag straps and I thought it was more comfortable that way. :)

Whoah! It's February already. which reminds me of FERB-uary. ( okay, you might not get it)

Just a short update.I shall blog about school since my life is all about school now.

So recently, my class ( 4s1) came up with the idea of " PAY TO SWEAR"! Basically, anyone who swears/want to swear has to pay 10 cent for each swear word. I think so far they've collected $8+? I'm not sure. The money is put into a coin box.

I'm loving chemistry practicals. Last week, we mixed a few liquid and the result was a....pink solution! It was so pretty! Of course, i like the fact that we have to wear a lab coat. Somehow, it makes me feel professional :) however, it's hot wearing such a thick coat.

Okay, i need to practice piano now. till next time!

Today started off perfectly fine. I woke up in the morning and read Uglies. It took me a while to finish it because the last few days were pretty busy. With all the homework beginning to pile up plus the whole laziness in me. Despite that though, I enjoyed reading it but I really want to know what happened in the end which I only can find out in the next book, Pretties. So in conclusion, I can't wait to read Pretties.

FIY: Uglies is the first book of the trilogy. The second book is Pretties and the third is Specials.It's about a world in which everyone has an operation when they turn sixteen, making them supermodel beautiful. Big eyes, full lips, no one fat or skinny. This seems like a good thing, but it's not. Especially if you're one of the uglies, a bunch of radical teens who've decided they want to keep their own faces.

Other than that, I talked to Melly and did my pile of homework from Monday. I love it when I'm not feeling lazy or restless. I still have maths homework to finish though and to revise add math too. Class test tomorrow ): Hopefully I'll be able to solve some questions. At least half. It'll be sad to fail my first class test in a new school.

Okay apparently the plan was to meet at grips at 2. Mel and Karen would be walking there after their practicals. Just the two of them. But I decided to be a really good friend so I went to sas to surprise them. When I spotted Mel and Karen, I wanted to greet Karen first but all of a sudden, Mel came hugging me so tightly. So, attempt failed.

After they finished packing, we started our terribly hot journey to Kiulap. (Thank God for umbrellas!) Crossing the roads were hilarious. Karen, who thinks she knows how to cross the road, doesn't know how! No kidding. We talked, laughed hysterically and took pictures during the journey.

Karen: I wanna be a car!

Melissa: I wanna be a superstar! No wait, I wanna be food.

Pearly: I wanna be a princess! :D

We're not weird, just full of ideas.

It was great to finally reach Kiulap. Alive. We had a free meal because I met one of my relative there who paid for us. hehe :)

Later, we walked again, This time a shorter distance. To Dream Cones!

And there we sang Happy Birthday to Karen! She blew out the candles and all.

Oh and we were bored so we took a walk.

Attention: this is the karen 'thing!' (what I meant is the face. hehe)

Lastly, Karen's tradition. We're all to wear watches on her birthday. Wherever we are and whatever we do.

I know this may seem cliche, however, people like to read these stuff. So here's a list of things I did when I'm 14.

1. I got my braces. ( not long ago actually, still i was 14 that day!)
2. I joined nativity play! for the first time.
3. I sat for PMB exam and got decent results. ( last batch of pmb yo)
4. I sat for my piano & violin exam.
5. I was totally (and still is) obsessed with HIMYM. what to do?
6. I went to Hong Kong for the 2nd time but visited DISNEYLAND for the first time in my life! :D Disneyland is such a happy place.
7. I took more pictures. lol.
8. I straightened my hair.
9. I tried contact lens for the first time.
10. I wake up in the morning feeling like P.diddy! :D

This book is the continuation of Peter Pan.

Peter Pan in Scarlet sees the return of Peter Pan, Wendy and the lost boys. Wendy and the boys went back to Neverland because dreams were licking out of it. As expected, Neverland wasn't in quite a good state so they started of their journey again with Peter Pan to help return Neverland to normality. But along the journey, Peter grew more and more irritable. He banishes Fireflyer, the new born fairy, and one of the lost boys to Nowhereland. It only happens when he wears the red coat he found on Captain James Hook's ship, the Jolly Roger.

You'll find out why and what happened in the end if you read the book. A good read, I have to admit. Oh and if I'm not mistaken, Peter Pan was originally a play then it was published as a book and finally a disney cartoon.

These pretty cupcakes were given by my classmate. It was her 14th birthday yesterday. I feel so old. Like she's one year and a few days younger but still my classmate.

Mel and Karen have been doing a splendid job, blogging everyday. Technically, getting me updated about what's happening in their school. But despite the fact that we don't see each other everyday anymore, we communicate through scribble-licious.blogspot.com, talk on the phone, skype, msn and all that stuff. So far, Mel tells me about how Karen doesn't understand her while Karen tells me the same thing about Mel. And sometimes, I get the some information in different views from both of them. Super hilarious. In conclusion to all this, I think Mel and Karen should start understanding each other. Though I know the main problem is the fact that they just miss me so much! :D

Johnny Bravo- the excessive combing of his yellow hair.

COW AND CHICKEN- My mom used to complain how ugly the cartoons the was. oh oh remember cow and chicken's parents only have legs?

Powerpuff girls- Now, how can anyone not seen this show before? " fights and crimes trying to safe the world~" I absolutely love PPG. I personally love bubbles the most :D

Dexter's Laboratory- THIS, i remember watching all the time. Dexter and his hilarious sister Deedee, who dances around his lab all the time.

Flintstones- They actually "carried" their car instead of driving. hilarious!

Courage the cowardly dog- Actually, I don't like this show. find it super dumb.. still it was a famous show.

And etc like I am weasel, Popeye and so on.

Now all cartoon network offers is ben 10. I mean ugh BEN 10?! What I am trying to say is, where did all the good cartoons go? At least Disney is still making good, new cartoons. Yeah, I'm referring to Phineas and ferb, and others obviously.

Peering closely to what was around me, I did not realise I had drifted away.....

I was cruising around Seri with my dad. "Stop!! I need to buy pencils!!" There was a slight pause. The car slowly drove on until we reached which is now 'Lucky Restaurant' Apparently, it's Bismi now, I thought to myself. Before even reaching the destination, I came out of the car and ran towards Bismi. I guess when you're in dreams, it doesn't really matter if you've got no stamina at all.

I was in awe. Bismi looked bigger than I expected. Go figure. There were book, stationery sections and... sounds?! It's almost as if.. I looked up and saw silver cages connected to the ceiling. Inside these cages were monkeys. Double weird.

I swiftly went to the Pilot section trying as hard as I could not to question at all. There were two people at the stationery section. A boy and a girl. I was searching for the perfect pencil. "Hey, I don't know who you are but you're pretty," the 'guy' said.
"Huh??"

The girl chuckled.

Then I woke up..

HI AGAIN! It might be a bore reading my posts because I don't post up much pictures. I apologise. Frankly, I'm not a picture person at all. I think I'm going to be hit by the girls for saying this. Anywhos, today was uh.. better. I finally went to Macy's to be measured for my lab coat. It'll be ready this Sunday. :)

She said that most S1s have already taken their measurements. My mom and aunt were worried about me because I only had two sweets for my lunch. It's not that bad! I drank a lot of fluids. Like Milk Tea and Delite. So I didn't really feel the hunger. I am so going to stop my eating habit starting from tomorrow. It's just not for me. Truthfully, I don't think I can handle it. I mean.. I am soo hungry right now.

I just saw Allison Iraheta ( from American Idol season 8, not a fan of her though) 's music video on channel V! And I found out that she has braces.... for her lower set of teeth only! I thought I am like the only person like that. The reason is... the doctor said it was unnecessary. ( so far) Chuan Yi even asked: Karen, how come you got money to do bottom but no money to do top? -.- not funny.

Also, I stumbled upon a website where people argued about " Friends vs How I met your mother". I think out of all comments, 98% prefers HIMYM. Except for this girl, she wrote: " Scrubs is so much funnier than both shows. " OK, weird! haha

While this dude commented:" there is no comparison between the two.

It's true.

Don't get me wrong, i love friends! I mean Chandler and Joey are funny! (right, Phoebe too!)In fact, i love to watch re-runs of Friends :) However, its kinda old. People go to bar today, not coffee shop. Plus, Barney Stinson is just legendary. yeah, I did not type wait for it because.. it's over-used. It should remain unique!!

What about this: " GOSSIP GIRL or 90210 "? I think most people prefer Gossip girl. Well i think lah. cause of Serena, Nate, the drama etc..

BUT. How come nobody likes CHUCK BASS? Why?! I personally like Chuck Bass. ( not because he's a womanizer, puh-lease). He actually turned up to be the best guy. yay, i love chuck bass :D I don't like Dan. I do not like his hair and I dislike the way he talk. However, "appearances can be deceptive" HAHA, that's the title of our composition.

Okay gotta end now. Am rambling too much. Wanted to write something about GLEE too cause I absolutely love glee. next time then. :)

My sister left for uk just now.. about an hour ago. Everyone seems to expect me to cry blabla. She doesn't even cry because she misses me.. she cries for her bf. I have to admit that I'm going to miss her. I feel as if I have less people around me... I know I'll always have Karen.. I think.

Not that I have interesting things to share, but it's my turn to blog. haha!

Okay so I got my braces for lower teeth on Thursday. you might think it's painful but it's not. I think that's because I used to put retainers so I'm sort of used to it. The difference between retainers and braces is that retainers can be put on/taken out easily but you can't eat with retainers on while braces are permanently fix to your teeth. I was so happy cause I get to choose the colour band for my braces. Guess what colour i choose... pink! obviously. However, I am still not used to eating with it, :p I can't chew properly.

Anyway, today we had a little activity during character building lesson. Basically, we're divided into groups of 8 or 9. We had to link our arms and try to go as fast to reach the point. The lesson in this is about cooperation. I think our group did pretty well! :)

Okay I feel so tired, gotta nap now

What happened in school today?
In eng period, teacher asked us to take a piece of paper and write about our personal problems ( without writing your name and you can change your handwriting ) The folded papers will be wrapped and distributed to random students in class. Our job now is to advise or solve their problems. It was really funny and interesting at the same time. We found out that every teenager has a problem; even Nate, who was somehow struggling to find a problem.

Hoe Wei's one was too obvious and everyone in class cracked up laughing when teacher read the problems and solutions. What else? We were playing arm wrestling in school and I think I sprain my wrist. I can hardly tie my hair. What more play the guitar :( Hopefully it'll get better.

Hopefully I'll become healthier.

I couldn't really breathe in the whole maths lesson. My nose was stuck or whatever it's called. I tried to grasp the air through mouth but teacher does not want to see us yawn or our mouth open. I was practically holding my breath for two periods :P
